If you have seen the movie"Running Scared" i have a few questions...?

ok so do you remember the seen were ollay(the little Russian boy) is in that sick house with those abducted kids? well i wanted to learn more about what that man and women do to kids... i mean i know they make them do ual things but why do they kill them afterwords?? And why do they have tapes??
