Do anti-Israel/Hamas supporters realize that they are the ones causing the middle east conflict to continue?

This war has been going on for a long long long time IT WASN'T STARTED BY HA MAS FIRING ROCKETS .. and you would only understand this conflict if u lived in the middle east and you know the history behind it! everything that is being told in the news and the media in the U.S and Europe is a LIE .. Im an egyptian muslim and i have jewish friends from israel! and i spoke to their grandfathers many times about the Israel and palestine conflict THAT STARTED IN 1948 (AND EVEN BEFORE THAT) .. and one thing I know! that this isn't a war that's being supported by the majority of Israelis and Palestinians! its a government war. so for all the people that thing they know it all because they watched the 6 o'clock news or read a yahoo article. trust me you know nothing, i thought i knew it all when people in egypt told me about it and i was reading about it and watched news, but when i talked to people who WERE THERE for the majority of their life i realized that i knew NOTHING!
