Srilankan Tamils???????

today i read a story in a regional newspaper that many tamils(i am andhra)were macred in Srilanka and millitants were destroyed completely during 2009 and read, now the tamils are leading a miserable life.how are they now?can anybody describe their condition in Srilanka?why don't they take permission of Indian govt. and return to Tamilnadu if they are pestered there?i really pity those innocent people.no silly or rude comments.thank you
